#ChashingPhilly The Democratic National Convention completed their most important political business.

Hillary Clinton has made history or more appropriately herstory, and became the first US female presidential nominee from a major political party after the official roll call and Bernie's endorsement.

The convention's opening day was filled with drama despite the party's attempt to display unity. It apparently found its footing after Michelle Obama's take-down of the GOP nominee, followed by Bernie Sanders' forceful Clinton endorsement.

YAHOO TO VERIZON

Following high stakes tech talks, a $ 5 billion Verizon deal to purchase Yahoo is expected today.

Verizon has reportedly made a deal to purchase Yahoo for $5 billion. This would end Yahoo' status as an independent company.

Verizon, which is expected to report its financial status tomorrow, has been the leading contender for Yahoo in a field of potential suitors that included AT&T, private equity firms and a group led by Quicken Loans co-founder Dan Gilbert, with the backing of Warren Buffett's company, Berkshire Hathaway.

#ChasingPhilly The new team for The Democrats is Hillary and Tim. Clinton has finally chosen her running mate. Her Vice President pick is US Senator Tim Kaine from Virginia.

The 58-year-old politician was chosen because of his long experience serving as Mayor, then Governor and on the US Senate. In fact, he is a member of an elite group of veteran politicians who has served as a mayor, governor and U.S. senator.

A manhunt is underway in Munich Germany, after nearly one dozen people were shot to death.

Public safety officers are hunting an unknown number of gunmen who opened fire in a shopping mall and at a nearby McDonald's Friday, killing at least eight people and wounding others in a rampage they described as suspected terrorism.

#ChasingCleveland The Donald's speech made no specific references to hope, spoke very little about freedoms, and only offered a scary Trump version of reality, which was at times opposing the Republican Party political platform.

At times, his fiery speech sounded paranoid, and as usual very short on specifics. America is not in decline and those watching said he sounded like a banana republic dictator

#ChasingCleveland tonight because it's the night for The Republican Party to unify under two candidates who are acting like its a newly formed bromance, just because there appear to be too many issues dividing the GOP.

The Donald takes center stage as Republicans hold their collective breath as they outline the series of challenges, many of their own pole bearer's making.

Financial Forecast

The Armageddon countdown clocks were back, ticking away the second quarter in the bottom of
our TV screens as the world awaited the June 23rd Brexit vote determining if Great Britain would
leave the European Union. The referendum was considered a joke until recent polls showed it
having a chance to pass which kicked the ruling class into gear saying the Euroskeptics should not
be taken seriously. President Obama went to London to warn against Brexit saying “The UK is
going to be in the back of the queue” when the US negotiates trade deals. His comments were
