NAFTA Nitwit

Calling all newshounds. While the McCain controversy involving The American Flag at The People's White House was unraveling, POTUS hurriedly called the press to announce that he was stopping NAFTA and after checking with Canad, who was not having it and a lame duck president of Mexico, who was not immediately available for POTUS.

The North American Free Trade Agreement is an agreement signed by Canada, Mexico, and the United States created a trilateral trade bloc in North America. That was before POTUS blew it up and it may have backfired on live TV.

Small Man Big Job

The late and great US Senator John McCain’s R-AZ left his dying message to be read by former chief of staff Grant Woods who says being President is a big role, filled by a little man.

After the death of McCain, President Donald Trump waited 48 hours before he released an official statement honoring McCain’s service.

After not saying anything about the late Senator McCain but praising Noth Korean Butcher Kim, POTUS finally spoke about McCain. Earlier he released a statement after being pushed a number of times by both Democrats and Republicans,

American Flag Showdown

Following a surprising bipartisan and symbolic move inside a Congress, which has too few during these trying times, US Senators Chuck Schumer D and Mitch McConnell R agree on something.

They are officially requesting US Defense Department to display all American flags accordingly by providing any and all the necessary support so that old glory continues to fly on all government buildings and remain at half-mast through sunset on the day of Senator McCain's internment.

We Like Heroes

If this were the plot of a major motion picture, Hollywood would produce the death of a real American hero as well as the overwhelming national celebration of his life of service to The #USA and We The People in a different way.

What else could possibly help members of The Republican Party aka @GOP find their backbone in his honor?

Have Republicans internalized their role as handmaidens to Trump’s corruption that they turned evidence of his incompetence and guilt into an argument for maintaining their power to cover it up?

American Education

The US' top official overseeing student loans has now resigned, citing #WhiteHouse hostility to protecting borrowers. The US report cards for schools and school districts have been a sore source of controversy, which will only grow when the nation starts receiving overall grades this fall.

As the new school year approaches, voters should keep in mind that education funding remains on life support, while many schools are crumbling, but corporations received a huge #GOP tax cut, which was primarily pocketed by executives and shareholders, with little trickle down to workers.

Pence Punishment?

The man who is one heartbeat away from The Presidency is @VP Mike Pence. Do you know who wanted Pence for VP? None other than a team reportedly made up of Steve Bannon, who’s fired, a convicted felon named Paul Manafort and Melania Trump.

Vice President Pence hired outside legal counsel a while back to help with both congressional committee inquiries and the special counsel investigation into possible collusion between President Trump’s campaign and Russia.

RIP John Sidney McCain III, who was serving as the senior US Senator from Arizona, a seat he was initially elected to 33 years ago. He died in bed, just as had predicted many years earlier. Senator McCain was capable of becoming a Republican nominee for President of the United States in the 2008 election, which he lost to Senator Barack Obama.

RIP John Sidney McCain III the senior US Senator from Arizona, was first elected in 1986. McCain was a real hero who dedicated an entire lifetime serving this great nation.

Regardless of what else you may have heard from a deaf, dumb and silent individual, other than a short Tweet, he was a brave American who really served his country and The Republican Party..

In fact, while he was running for president he defended his opponent when one of his misinformed Republicans verbally attacked the man who was later duly elected POTUS 44.

Worldwide this weekend, everyone should celebrate Women's Equality Day to honor the rights of women and among them the freedom to cast ballots in The USA.

Women's Equality Day will be officially celebrated on Sunday, but the festivities have begun by honoring the 98th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote.

According to data by the Center for American Women and Politics, over 73.7 million women have reported voting whereas only 63.8 million men follow the same trend. Another example pointing to their determination.
