GOOD DAY MATE
I will be taking a few weeks off, making it an appropriate time to place this blog on a brief hiatus. I expect to return around our nation's anniversary, assuming it still feels worth celebrating.
With any luck, we will have begun to undo some of the damage done recently. It is time to challenge outdated institutions and assumptions, including the notion that Rhode Island should wield the same Senate representation as California despite their vastly different populations.
Members of Congress who identify as conservatives should be asked to explain how they can claim to defend democratic principles while supporting actions that undermine them. Elected officials of all political affiliations should be held accountable for honesty, integrity and fidelity to the rule of law.
Keep the faith. Above all, remain committed to the U.S. Constitution and the democratic values it represents.
