Hundreds of thousands of bike commuters hit the streets of New York City this morning in celebration of National Bike to Work Day. Transportation Alternatives staff and volunteers welcomed commuters from all five boroughs with breakfast snacks and free goodies.

The New York Arm Wrestling Association (NYAWA) announced today that the Bronx Tourism Council and Bronx Week Food and Arts Festival will host the 29th Annual Bronxboro Arm Wrestling Championships on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 1 p.m. The event will take place on the Main Stage at Mosholu Parkway South between Van Cortlandt Ave. East and Bainbridge Ave. Bronx, NY. 10458 – General admission and entry is free and the event consists of both pro and amateur categories for men and women.
