He's also the first Jesuit Pope, but don't cry for him Argentina. The only tears shed in this Catholic South American country are tears of joy. Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio Of Buenos Aires, has been elected the new leader of Catholic Church, on the second day and following five votes. He will now be known as Pope Francis I and he was reportedly the first runner-up in 2005, during the previous selection.

The official installation mass of Francis I will take place at 9:30 a.m. in Rome on Tuesday, March 19, at the Vatican. He chose the name as a reminder of St. Francis of Assisi, a long-time champion of the poor. Francis was founder of the Franciscan Order, born at Assisi in Umbria, in 1181 and died there, 3 October, 1226.

ARIES (March 21-April 19): One thing is ready for takeoff. Another isn't. It takes presence of mind to be able to distinguish between the two but you are more than up to the task.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): There is a lot of preparation work to be tackled today. Before forging ahead, do your homework and set the proper stage. You will be glad that you did.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): You attract the attention that you want but is it the kind of attention that you really need? Forethought helps you make more measured and accurate decisions today. Think ahead.

Black smoke rose above the Sistine Chapel today, signaling that 115 Roman Catholic cardinals failed to agree on a new pope during the first day of the papal conclave.

The conclave began deliberating inside the Vatican after swearing an oath of secrecy and entering into another search for a Pope at about 5 p.m. local time 12 p.m. ET.

Are the 115 Cardinals meeting at the Sistine Chapel in Rome praying for a Jesus like figure with an MBA in divine intervention for The Pope?

A judge has permanently blocked Mike Bloomberg's citywide ban on large sugary drinks.

The ban, which was supposed to begin tomorrow, would have impacted restaurants, theaters, sports stadiums, and any place that receives a letter grade from the city's Health Department.

New York City's Mayor pushed for the first U.S. ban of over-sized sugary drinks in his latest controversial step to reduce obesity and its deadly complications in a nation with a weight problem.

These drinks would have no longer been sold in containers larger than 16 ounces.
