The smash-hit song "Love Me Do" was the debut single by the English rock band the Beatles, backed by "P.S. I Love You".

When the single was originally released in the United Kingdom on 5 October 1962, it peaked at number 17. It was released in the United States in 1964, where it became a number one hit.

The song was written several years before it was recorded, and prior to the existence of the Beatles.

William Henry Cosby Jr. is an American stand-up comedian, actor, musician, author, and convicted sex offender, who has been incarcerated for a couple of years.

It was just one month ago that Cosby was denied parole by the Pennsylvania Parole Board, which cited a number of reasons for its decision.
