They were definitely different times. Americans were happy and enthusiastically producing, while our very own homegrown artists created content that could best be described as real gems. While King was creating, The Carpenters were building and Mitchell was mobilizing and simultaneously.

The ’60s and ’70s brought real-life superstars to A&M Studios in Hollywood, California for some fine music.

My wife's little sister and her boy are near and dear to us and are traveling for the first time to visit family.

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." This raises the question whether those who can remember are not doomed, to be swept along by the majority who cannot?

The last Presidential election was a particularly toxic for Americans. The tone of the race was negative and some political scientists worried the election could scar a generation of young voters, making them less likely to cast ballots in the future. Name-calling and accusations thrown between the candidates were just the beginning of the vitriol.

While politicians on both sides of the aisle are retiring, a shake-up is urgently needed in all parties because too many longtime officials, members of Congress, US Senators, state and local politicians have become indebted to special interest groups by massive donations to their campaigns which represent dangers to our democratic system.

USA voters should consider a clean sweep and search for new leaders who are satisfied with their base salaries and work for the greater good of everyone.

Hurricane Maria is one of the worst natural disasters on record and caused catastrophic damages and a major humanitarian crisis in Puerto Rico. These are American citizens, so don't they deserve the same treatment as any others?

Everyone knows that @realbigotry or #white-supremacy goes against global values. Intolerance toward those who hold different opinions from oneself should never be practiced.

Any person who is obstinately or intolerantly devotes their own opinions and prejudices especially one who treats the members of a group with hatred and intolerance.

No one should be intolerantly devoted to their own opinions and prejudices or treat the members of any racial or ethnic group with hatred and intolerance. PERIOD END OF SENTENCE!!!
