This year's 2012 Mid-Autumn full moon was unbelievably visible on the night September 30.
This photo was taken on Lake Michigan, but people all over the world enjoy time off during these days which are usually connected with the weekend.

The 2012 Mid-Autumn Day is celebrated with the National Day holiday (October 1 - 7), so as billions of people enjoy an eight-day holiday from September 30 to October 7. The long holiday with pleasant autumn weather becomes a peak time for travel to Indiana?

Welcome to my visit to Chicago, where I viewed the moon, up close and personal in order to help me explore traditional folk customs of this interesting full moon Mid-Autumn Festival.
