The adage "Sixty is the New Thirty" encourages all individuals to embrace the new lifestyle concept of reinvention.
Remember when 40 was the new 30? Then there was 50 was the new 40, then the new 30? So I guess 20 would be the new 10? It seems as if modern day society is trying to tell us how we should look, feel, what we should wear, say... etc.
A few weeks ago, Democrats begin calling for POTUS Joe Biden to drop out as the presidential cam pain attributing much of his plummeting poll numbers to his age. Now it’s #DonOld that is the one.
It is a call to rediscover oneself, to let go of preconceived notions about what age should dictate, and to pursue a life that aligns with one's passions and aspirations.
By simply living 20 – 30 years longer, those in their 50s and 60s have been exposed to more, and it is reflected in their lifestyle.
Age is just a number and mine is unlisted or as one American comedian liked to say 39 forever!
