I love breakfast; it is one of my favorite meals of the day. While some eat scrambled eggs, I've tried pancakes with ice cream.
I will try anything once and all sorts combinations, so as ironic as this is going to appear, there was no doubt that I had to try this one.
Yesterday, my beautiful neighbor was kind enough to offer her home made lasagna, so to make the best of her kindness, I had to give it a try and I can safely say, it was delicious.
Here is a fun breakfast adventure, lasagna is such a clever idea and its gotten a lot of love from my tastebuds for exactly the same reason: it takes something familiar and flips it into a shareable, almost celebratory dish.
And it sounds like the timing worked out nicely, I had the craving already planted then neighbor's homemade lasagna gave me the perfect occasion to actually make good on trying it. Sounds like a good day mate all around, great food and delicious.
For me, the ski is the limit. Next stop: maybe a snow-cone omelet or a fondue pancake stack. Any ides you'd like me to try?
