Will CBS and CNN, soon to be owned by media barons at Paramount-Skydance, run cover for a war that has killed over a dozen Americans and sent oil past triple digits $$$ a barrel? 

Will it be re-shaped around an administration that has declared war on the free press and criticized real journalism?

The CBS Evening News is on track for its lowest-rated first quarter this century, averaging 4.3 million viewers with the key 25-54 demographic down 18 percent. CBS Mornings is at its lowest-rated quarter on record, down 13 percent from the same period last year.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the FCC chair continues to threaten to pull the rug out from under broadcast licenses for all media outlets that don’t fall in line lock, stock, and barrel. 

The company has also announced the elimination of the CBS Radio Network News.
