This was the beginning of the end when they beat the GOP Bush / Qyale ticket and I lost my post as G15/10 at USIA- TV Marti.
The Clinton-Gore ticket then faced and defeated their Republican opponents, President George H. W. Bush and Vice President Dan Quayle as well as the independent ticket of Ross Perot and James Stockdale in the 1992 presidential election.
I asked my two daughters and favorite gals if they wanted to tour the convention floor. Since I was working for HW Papa Bush and as it turned out and as these appointments go, so do presidential positions. My job ended when Bush was not Re-elected. And so it goes.
