Diversity is necessary for a number of reasons. It helps in fostering creativity, driving innovation, and guiding strategies. Having multiple voices, sharing unique ideas, collaborating to build new systems, and brainstorming to bring out-of-the-box ideas will help everyone.
It would also create an environment where each individual understands that their opinion matters and that they have every right to opine, by objecting to or supporting ideas or strategies, and at the end of the day majority rules.
People follow leaders because of their values, vision, passion, and purpose. It's not about wealth or power. it's all about inspiring people to believe in themselves, belief in their potential, and something much greater than their own self-preservation. When we have that type of influence and folks choose to follow, we are on the clear path to improvement.
The free world must realize that a diverse community is capable of helping everyone become involved in teamwork towards making the most of innovative ideas and creating new opportunities for everyone.
