GIVING IS LIVING

Submitted by ub on

Acts of generosity can significantly impact success in our lifestyles, our careers, and our overall performance.

Once we practice GIVING, it may quickly prove to be a life-changing habit, and can also boost our overall health and happiness.

it is better to give than to receive is not just a phrase we have heard from friends, family members, or from spiritual teachings. Adopting a culture of giving can lead to a lifetime of higher productivity, improved morale, and increased efficiency.

The bottom line or takeaway is that there is a social connection tied to giving--whether to a person in need in your community or organization or a grassroots charity close to your heart--gives the giver the greatest psychological benefit as well as a lifetime boost of happiness.

Three Standards of Giving

  • Proportionate Giving. Some Christians never even considered tithing, and others tithe to the penny. ...
  • Planned Giving. This giving simply represents an amount we could give if we were willing to give up something else.
  • Precommited Giving. This type of giving is faith giving.
