Eating more beans is good for our health for the entire planet and all of us. What is the best method of preparing them?

Beans are one of the longest-cultivated plants in history. Broad beans, also called fava beans, are in their wild state the size of a small fingernail and were first gathered in Afghanistan and the Himalayan foothills. An early cultivated form was grown in Thailand from the early seventh millennium BCE predating ceramics.

Beans were deposited with the dead in ancient Egypt. Not until the second millennium BCE did cultivate, large-seeded broad beans appear in the Aegean regionIberia, and transalpine Europe. In the Iliad (8th century BCE), there is a passing mention of beans and chickpeas cast on the threshing floor.

Additionally, beans are also versatile enough to play a starring or backup role in virtually every part of the meal.

Beans are all about diversity. There are white beans, black beans red beans... etc. There are 15 types of beans. Here are how to cook using them.

I have a longtime friend named Mickey who is as corny as I am and likes to ask how you have your bean.…  Mr. Bean
