I received a call today, but as you can see, I wasn't able to drive to get my #COVID shot because I'm snowed in at Nautical Winds.
I am not throwing away my shot!
Hey yo, I'm just like my country
I'm not young, scrappy, or hungry
I'm not throwing away my shot!
The 100-year-old white structure, where I own a condo is listed as a landmark building and is located at 190 Fordham Street in City Island A Slice of NYC Paradise. Although The Bronx is the third-most-densely-populated county in the #USA, with a majority of Hispanic residents, about a quarter of its area is open space, including Woodlawn Cemetery, Van Cortlandt Park, Pelham Bay Park, the New York Botanical Garden, and the Bronx Zoo in the borough's north and center, on land deliberately reserved in the late 19th century as an urban development zone.
Anyhow, back to Nautical Winds Condo and HSC which is allegedly well run by HSC Management and a three-member board, one of which claims to have more votes than any one of the 16 owners in the historical building. Take a close look at my handicapped license plate, which is the same exact logo found on their website.
Two neighbors have died in February in the past couple of years and I did not want to be the third one of a heart attack plowing the snow, so I notified management but as often occurs, it fell on deaf ears. The website may appear to be more user-friendly than it first looks.
Nobody likes to throw the H-word Harassment or the D-word Discrimination as my wife, who is Asian, and I, A Latino have been dealing with Caren or Karen acts https://cimages.me/content/Nobody-Likes-A-Karen far too long.
Their alleged harassment and discrimination have been documented and reported to the local, state, and federal authorities. Issues have been heard by judges, who issued an order of protection, and the courts ruled in our favor.
HSC Management claims to be proud of its back-office processes and procedures. But #YELP tells a different story altogether. Don't take it from me, read what some former employees say along with others from the current tenant family.
RATINGS

very unprofessional and disrespectful staff. I wouldn't recommend anybody to work there. The managers talk to the employees like garbage. the manager drinks and smokes on her lunch break.
Assistant to the Property Management (Former Employee) - Mount Vernon, NY - November 12, 2019
HSC Management is a very unfair company. Who doesn't treat their employees with respect also are very unprofessional? They require a lot of work but a little bit of pay and no benefits.
Data Entry (Former Employee) - Mount Vernon, NY - September 26, 2018
The management curse and working environment are horrible. There is favoritism to a certain group and most of the workers who work directly with the boss are downright backstabbers and rude. I also noticed that they went to the bathroom a lot if you know what I mean. Run as fast as you can trust me this place is just horrible.
Pros
Lunch
Cons
Managers
Super/doorman/ porter they make you do everything (Former Employee) - NYC, NY - January 22, 2018
Horrible company. They treat employees and tenants like garbage. Don’t treat employees fairly. Lack of respect. Use security cameras to spy on employees. You are never at ease working for them. The president of the company is not a people person, uses tactics like switching schedules and threatening employees to force them to quit. They do not abide by unions' protocol and are big liars. They expect everything from you but treat you like a dog. Not a family place. Complete lie.
Pros
Encouraged me to look for another job
Cons
Constantly looking over your shoulder
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) - Yonkers, NY - October 14, 2017
Staff is unprofessional especially the upper management, cursing, yelling, hanging up phones I saw it all at this place. Would never go back to this place, avoid it at all cost!
Pros

Cons
The team is unprofessional and rude!
Assistant to Property Manager (Former Employee) - Bronxville, NY - October 13, 2017
The staff is unprofessional and some are treated with favoritism. My entire time working there I felt truly uncomfortable. Assignments are piled on a last-minute basis requiring extra time with no extra compensation. The staff is also not welcoming. I am truly happy I resigned as quickly as I could.
