Climate change happens to be real as the MEGASTORMS indicate to many Americans in multiple ways.
- Gusts up to 60 mph are expected in Jefferson and Lewis counties, where the warning expires at 8 p.m. Monday. Strongest gusts are expected Monday morning on the northwest, northern face of Tug Hill.
- Gusts up to 50 mph are expected in southern Erie and Chautauqua counties, where the warning expires at 8 a.m. Tuesday. The strongest gusts are expected along the northwest downslope region of the Chautauqua Ridge and to the Lake Erie shoreline Monday morning
- Gusts up to 60 mph are expected in parts of Franklin, Clinton and Essex counties in northern New York, where the warning expires at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The strongest wind gusts are expected through noon on Monday and along the Route 11 corridor.
