Long after serving as a senior producer for NBC News NY and later as news director for Telemundo and New York, Happened #1

I once shared a vision with a senior vice president: that these two powerhouse brands should one day merge to become the first truly bilingual newsgathering operation in America. This past weekend in New York City, that vision became a reality.

A five-year journey culminated in the historic unification of WNBC and WNJU under one roof at the iconic 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Leading this monumental effort has been one of the most humbling and rewarding experiences of my career.

I am proud of the entire team, the unsung heroes whose relentless dedication, long days, and sleepless nights made this milestone possible. My deepest thanks to all who helped bring this across the finish line. KUDOS, STJLevin.

The consolidation of these legendary stations, each with its rich legacy, marks the birth of a new kind of media powerhouse—one that reflects the diversity of our audiences and the future of news in America.
