There’s no magic formula for living through two centuries and staying healthy to see both daughters happy.
As I celebrate another birthday, I am trying to live sensibly and enjoy the gift I cherish here on earth. This is why it’s called the present.
When I was younger, I loved swimming, riding my horse, then my bike, playing football, going to concerts everything that kept me active. I was always on the go, full of energy, full of life.
But as time goes on, I begin to see what really matters most. It’s not the things I have… It’s the people.
Family. Friends. They’re what make it all worthwhile.
Over the years, I’ve tried to stay in touch with family and friends, the ones from school, from work, from different stages of life..
I’ve lost my parents, a brother, and some dear friends. Losing them hurts, but it also reminds me how precious those connections are.
The best part of a good life is raising a family. Most of us started from humble beginnings, but we built our lives step by step, with love, lots of hard work, and a big heart.
It takes effort to stay healthy and care for the people we love. And when we do and really put ourselves into it, then life gives that love right back.
And that’s what means the most to me now: my wife, my children, and my grandchildren.
Qué manera de quererlos. What a way to love them all.
