However, the aurora could stretch as far as states like Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Maine, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska.
