Turner was an American-born and naturalized Swiss singer, dancer, actress, and author. Widely referred to as the "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll", she rose to prominence as the lead singer of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue before launching a successful career as a solo performer.

I saw her perform and met Ms. Turner in LA while she was rocking Capitol Records🎶

Tina earned 12 Grammys and 3 Grammy Hall of Fame Awards. Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. The first Black artist and the first female to be on the cover of Rolling Stone In the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Turner had her biggest hit in middle age when she was in her 40s.

Back in 2018, Tina Turner revealed in her book My Love Story that she had suffered life-threatening health issues in recent years. In 2013, three weeks after her wedding to Erwin Bach, she had a stroke and needed to learn to walk again.

The music video features Turner dressed in a heavy chain mail gown, more or less as Aunty Entity, the character she played in the movie. As several spotlights shine on her, she proceeds to sing atop a platform while various scenes from the movie are interspersed. In the last portion of the video, Turner's tour saxophonist, percussionist, and keyboardist -- Timmy Capello, and a children's choir accompany her. The music video received an MTV Video Music Award nomination for Best Female Video.
