Have Russians now thrown the girl’s grandfather under the bus in hopes the International Olympic Committee buys their ugly lies?

Why does the world continue to allow the Russian scam that has tainted these global games for a decade? Valieva was cleared to compete by the Court of Arbitration for Sport following a hearing into a positive drug test that surfaced the previous week.

One of her lawyers claims the heart medication that triggered the positive test came from a contaminated cup that the 15-year-old Valieva used after her grandfather?

She was expected to dominate the competition, but that was before a positive drug test. A test that Valieva took two months ago was flagged for a banned heart medication, but the Court of Arbitration for Sport cleared her to compete, ruling that Valieva was a "protected athlete" because of her age.

Attorneys for Valieva argued that the banned substance trimetazidine entered her system through a medication that her grandfather takes, a member of the International Olympic Committee confirmed Tuesday. According to The Dossier Center, Valieva's attorney, Anna Kuzmenko, noted Valieva's grandfather takes trimetazidine for heart issues.

Does anyone believe Kamila Valieva’s lawyers who are claiming the Russian skater failed a doping test because of "contamination" with her grandfather’s medication?
