Start Spreading The Blues

If The Democrats lose the US House of Representatives they may have only New York, NY to point the middle finger of blame.

After @TheDemocrats robust performance on #ElectionDay , the battle for #Congress remains unsettled with a handful of @USAGov House and Senate races still up in the air.

The biggest loser was New York, where Democrats won the race for Governor, but at the same time lost big in Congress.

Republicans flipped four congressional seats in the state of New York, the most of any other state in the nation. How did this happen in one of our country’s most liberal states? However, The GOP woke up to the fact that they'll barely win the US House and might not win the Senate. The Grand Old Party has yet to grow up as the finger-pointing begins. Many Republicans and members of the conservative media fear #TrumpToxic is the biggest loser #BiggestLoserTrump

It was up to you, New York, NEW YORK!

Start spreading the news
I'm leaving today
I want to be a part of it
New York, New York

These vagabond shoes
They are longing to stray
Right through the very heart of it
New York, New York

I want to wake up in a city
That never sleeps
And find I'm king of the hill
Top of the heap

These small town blues
They are melting away
I'll make a brand new start of it
In old New York

If I can make it there
I'll make it anywhere
It's up to you
New York, New York

New York, New York
I want to wake up in a city
That doesn't sleep
And find that I'm number one
Top of the list
Head of the heap
King of the hill

These little town blues
They've all melted away
I'm gonna make a brand new start of it
In old New York

And
If I can make it there
I'll make it practically anywhere
It's up to you
New York, New York
New York

"New York State of Mind" is a classic song written by Billy Joel which initially appeared on the album Turnstiles in 1976. Although it was never released as a single, it has become a fan favorite and a song that Joel plays regularly in concert. Joel famously played the song at The Concert for New York City, the October 2001 benefit concert for the New York City Fire and Police Departments and the loved ones of families of first responders lost during the terrorist attack on New York City on 9/11

Wake up New York... This is our greatest and most frightening nightmare.Everything in NOT going to alright, NY.
