TRUMP TUESDAY

Veni, Vidi, Vici is a Latin phrase that translates to: Came, Saw, Conquered but collected 34 criminal felony indictments in NYC.

The phrase could be attributed to Orange Julius, who may use it in a social media post to refer to his three crimes of politically motivated payoffs. However, In this historic indictment, Manhattan DA laid out what he needed to do and nothing more or less that was legally required.

Reportedly the NYC indictment charges Trump with 34 separate counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, a felony. A separate document laying out the factual basis for Bragg’s allegations against Trump points to a complicated web of arrangements between Trump, his former lawyer Michael Cohen who is identified as Lawyer A, and David Pecker, the CEO of American Media, the company that publishes the National Enquirer.

Alvin Bragg alleges that these three men worked together to identify two women who allegedly had sex with Trump and to pay them to remain silent. The women are identified as “Woman 1” and “Woman 2” by Bragg, but the first woman appears to be former Playboy model Karen McDougal, and the second appears to be porn actress Stormy Daniels.

There are two fat cats at legal odds in NY court. One is a black democratically elected District Attorney, and another a white defendant who reportedly stole his first election and overwhelmingly lost his reelection after being impeached twice. Then there is a Latino judge https://cimages.me/content/Here-Com-Da-Judge who presides over the case. We didn't make this stuff up, folks, and finally, did anyone else notice that the former guy was wearing more makeup and hairspray than his attorney sitting next to him?

The definition of a grifter? A con man is a person who swindles you using deception or fraud. We shouldn't be surprised by anything that #45 does but shortly after he was arranged Tuesday in NYC. Since #Trump's indictment, he has raised somewhere between 8 - 10 million dollars....and that was before his fake mugshot T-shirts. This is like a bad movie that never ends. As he riles up the base, I am concerned for the judge the DA as well as the safety of law-abiding people across America or anyone who is the target of this vile rhetoric.

Defendant got a Parker Warning - f you have a trial in NYC Supreme Court or Criminal Court and you fail to return on the scheduled date. In the alternative, you pleaded guilty in Criminal Court after bargaining with the prosecutor and the judge scheduled a date for sentencing, but you didn’t return. The question you now have is can the judge proceed with the trial against me or can he sentence me or increase my sentence without me being there?

Judges, prosecutors, and criminal defense attorneys often throw around a term that is applicable to this question. That is, did you receive your Parker Warnings? The Court of Appeals, in People v. Parker and the line of cases that followed, has held that a defendant must be present at the time of trial and sentence. This right can be waived, but the defendant must be informed at the time he pleaded guilty or the case was adjourned for a trial that the case would proceed without his presence. Moreover, in the event of sentencing, the defendant must also be advised that he may receive a harsher sentence if he does not return and he will not be permitted to withdraw his plea. https://nycourts.gov/judges/cji/8-Colloquies/Admonition-Parker.pdf
