They say that a six-figure income doesn’t go as far as it used to. I have not seen the salaries or earned these paychecks in many years.

I did, but then I went from Media to Academia. I left the newsroom and entered the classrooms but without a tenure position, I forgot about it.

Nonprofit public media does not pay, but can be extremely rewarding. So when opportunity knocks open up and say Yes ma’am or yes Siri BoB.

But then again, in my opinion money is overrated and what’s most important is to be doing what we like which is more rewarding than making thr big bucks.
