Enter Kila, this five-year-old Cane Corso was rescued last month due to what vets called welfare concerns.
An employee at the dog pound found out Kila was pregnant during a vet visit for neutering and she gave birth to 14 puppies six days later.
The exclamation was gee whiz, as staffers expressed concern that the center had already been looking after 10 other puppies, Kila's surprise litter was taking its toll, adding: "We'd be really grateful to anyone who can help as we nurture these gorgeous families."
Kila's puppies would all be ready for their new homes from 28 September, so to any families interested should contact the BBC or RSPCA rescue in Yorkshire.
