WTF PEOPLE?

How many kids must be slaughtered by assault rifle killers before the GOP realizes that #wethepeople are dying, while the NRA pays?

As you can see, this is the face of the GOP. Our solution won’t come unless you vote the bumbling puppets out of their jobs and replace them with ones that work for you. What’s going on here

Democracy and Criminal Justice Are Never Going to Get Along

Mass shootings are massacres when an attacker kills or injures multiple individuals simultaneously using a firearm. The USA has 199 as of today.  Those in need of mental health assistance are the lawmakers who insist that assault rifles are not a problem.

Atlanta, Georgia

Cleveland, Texas

Dadeville, Alabama

Nashville, Tennessee

Louisville Kentucky

Michigan State University

Half Moon Bay, California

Enoch City, Utah... The list is almost endless.

The first thing you need to take note of is to contact your state’s representative. There is no centralized system to deliver emails like how a switchboard operator does. Each member has their email address, phone number, and office policy on how to contact them.

On one hand, the GOP seems like they are interested in kids then do this really radical thing like banning books for kids.

The kids don’t actually NEED they need more books, not less

On the other hand, these same jerks can’t imagine limiting citizen access to assault rifles which wreak havoc and cause dead students They must also really hate the students

COUNTDOWN BLOG - COMMENT: "The first girl I walked up to," said one of the first bystanders to the scene in Allen, Texas, "was crouched down covering her head in the bushes, so I felt for a pulse, pulled her head to the side and she had no face." The cops then refused to take questions and the authorities had nothing but emotionless platitudes. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/countdown-with-keith-olbermann/id…

Making a phone call is more suitable when you have limited time and you need to take urgent action. Calling your representative is a fast and effective way to express your opinions or any concerns. Here are some things to remember when contacting your representative by phone:

If you have professional expertise on an issue, establish credibility by stating your position or professional role in a courteous way.

Identify yourself as a constituent and voter as legislators and their staff are more receptive to their own constituents’ opinions. But putting it in writing and  establishing a paper trail is most effective

End your call on a graceful note to the staff in the representative’s office.

How long will it take for Congress to act?

They must stay on the job and fix this before taking a vacation.

A mass shooting is when four victims of a shooting in a short period; however, there is variance in the definition. Definitions of mass shootings exclude warfare and sometimes exclude instances of gang violence, armed robberies, and familicides. In the United States, the Investigative Assistance for Violent Crimes Act of 2012 defines mass killings as three or more killings in a single incident.

One brave Congressional Democrat is trying to do something about it while warning of more mass shootings this year than days. Kids adults, no one isn't safe shopping, at work, or in schools, and Americans worry every day.
