A Dog World

We continue to learn about rescue teams working to heal the wounds of the massive earthquake that killed thousands in Turkey.

They recently rescued and brought a dog Alex found alive from the rubble. During their work, the sound of a dog was heard in the wreckage of a building as the dog's owner followed the work carried out by the teams that answered the call with enthusiasm. Although it was difficult, the teams were victorious. Alex was rescued from the wreckage, where he was trapped for 23 days and was treated.

Additionally, we've learned about the survival rate of stray dogs years after the Chornobyl nuclear ☢️ meltdown and how they have evolved, maintaining steady development.

Canis lupus is a domestic mammal of the family Canidae. It is a subspecies of the gray wolf and is related to foxes and jackals. The dog is one of the two most ubiquitous and most popular domestic animals worldwide. The cat is the other. For more than 12,000 years, it has lived with humans as a hunting companion, protector, and BFF.

I like all breeds of quiet dogs. Especially the ones that know when to bark whenever they sense danger, not when they see the same people but have not been trained by their owners, so they bark.

Dogs are resilient and born survivors, not to mention they are humans' best friends.

As a child, I met my first best friend but had to leave him when I came to live in America. Then as a family man, we enjoyed another canine, but a friend suggested I allow him to live with his brother on a large farm when I moved my family to NYC. Finally, after my divorce, I rescued a stray dog brave enough to cross the Rio Grande from Mexico to Texas without papers.
