Slow Note From China

Submitted by ub on

On December 31, 2019, the World Health Organization China office received the first report of a previously-unknown virus, which may now have spread to hundreds of thousands of folks worldwide.

Coronaviruses are diseases in mammals and birds. In humans, coronaviruses cause respiratory tract infections that are typically mild, such as some cases of the common cold, though some can be lethal, like SARS, MERS, or COVID-19.

Symptoms vary, but people may experience: Runny noses, Sore throats, Coughing, Fever and Difficulty breathing.

Why have #China #XiJinping #PRC #DonaldTrump #GOP #POTUS #Republicans been under intense scrutiny from members of #GlobalCommunity #Journalists and a #healthcareleadership for their totally unacceptable #CoronavirusPandemic response, which so far has infected, or killed thousands, shut down nations, workplaces, schools, and negatively affected the well being of humanity, along with our global economic system... Was this basic incompetence or something worse?

With their backs to the wall, they turned to their only alternative. Not health experts nor scientists but political propaganda. Can we no longer believe so-called world leaders? As misinformation campaigns keep spreading, they are creating a big challenge for newsrooms decimated by staffing cuts. We must stay informed.

This virus does not know gender, nationalities, political persuasions, races, colors, or creeds. We all need to attack the virus, not each other. Racist tweets put many people along with their families at risk.

Knowing what is accurate can protect us. There’s much false information flying around, and knowing what is really going on will protect your family.

First, double-check and then triple check because propaganda can strike deep.
