This annual event takes place this year from 10:30 a.m, to 1 p.m. Children ranging from ages 2 to 12 are welcome to attend. The cost of the event is $10 for members and $12 for everyone else.
There will be be nine Easter hunts for three different ages —2-3 years, 4-6 years and 7-12 years. Hunts will be run every 15 minutes from 10:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Bring your own baskets. Refreshments will be offered.
In addition to the Easter egg hunts, there will be spoon races and egg toss, arts and crafts tables. Children will have an opportunity to have photos taken with the Easter Bunny. Also, making tissue paper flowers, painting wooden eggs, paper bag decorating, and face painting sessions will occur.
Bronx St.Catharine’s Academy and Pelham High School volunteers will be available for the kids.
Mansion tours will start at 2:15 p.m., after the last egg hunt is over. Mansion admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students. Children under 6 enter for free.
