Guy Gugliotta worked for United Pres International and was their Latin American foreign correspondent. He speaks perfect Spanish, having lived in Ecuador as a young man. Gugliotta also worked at The Miami Herald and The Washington Post, where he covered US Congress, including the impeachment of President Bill Clinton. He calls that assignment real agony because he claims that those 12 hour days were long and hard. However, he points out that this was the time when he grew to admire the US Capitol, calling it a fabulous two domed building.
Mr. Gugliotta is a delightful fellow, a decorated veteran and an award winning journalist, who currently enjoys writing science stories. Guy has lived in Pelham for the past several years. His lecture will be followed by a reception and book signing.
Registration is strongly suggested for this upcoming event.
