Borough Borough President DIAZ to HOST THE 14th Annual
‘Bronx Bankers Breakfast’ Mayor Bloomberg Guest Speaker
Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. will once again host the largest networking event of its kind in the Bronx, the 14th Annual Bronx Bankers Breakfast. The event is produced in partnership with the Business Initiative Corporation of New York and the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation (BOEDC).
This year’s event will also feature a special appearance by Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, who will be on hand as a special guest speaker.
The theme of this year’s breakfast is “Bank on The Bronx…We’re On The Move,” which responds directly to both the many economic development projects simultaneously occurring in the Bronx and to the credit environment faced by many businesses trying to obtain capital to expand or start their own business. The Business Initiative Corporation of New York, the lending arm of the BOEDC, is now able to lend more and for the first time refinance debt.
