SUNY Maritime College graduates have much to boast about over Princeton, Harvard, Yale, and Columbia graduates. Higher starting annual salaries; that’s what.

SUNY Maritime College graduates are the highest-earning group of any state public college in the nation, according to PayScale's 2014-15 College Salary Report.

What differentiates the PayScale, Inc. report from the other national third-party endorsements is that it focuses on alumni outcomes. According to the report, SUNY Maritime bachelor's-only graduates report early career median salaries of $62,100 and mid-career median incomes of $121,700.

Maritime College’s ranking by PayScale, Inc. comes days following the 2015 rankings by U.S. News & World Report, where SUNY Maritime was ranked sixth among public colleges in the North Region. In August, Maritime was ranked as a Best College in the Northeast by The Princeton Review for an eighth successive year. The College also is ranked as a Military Friendly School for 2015.
