"PEOPLE V. BOYD: THE MURDER TRIAL THAT NEARLY REDREW THE MAP OF NEW YORK CITY"
Saturday, April 12, 2014 - 1:00 PM
Bronx County was carved out of New York County in 1914, one hundred years ago. For seventy years the division seemed clear, but then in 1984 an otherwise unremarkable murder case generated a startling legal decision that threw the long-standing boundary between the two counties into question at the sleepy little neighborhood of Marble Hill. Join Michael Miscione, The Manhattan Borough Historian, as he presents historic images and videotaped interviews with the principal players in the story.

The following two lectures will be held at The Bronx Library Center, located at 310 East Kingsbrdge Road, The Bronx, New York 10458. For directions, please call
