Bronx native AJ Clemente was fired for cursing on the air while working at a North Datoka TV station, but since then he has appeared on several network television programs.
He was heard saying f---ing sh-t as the station was beginning their newscast. Clemente got his break on Sunday, April 21, as a weekend anchor for NBC affiliate KFYR-TV in Bismarck, N.D. But now he's looking for another job, having been fired by the station for opening his first-ever broadcast with profanity.
He was reported quoted as saying "Rookie mistake. I'm a free agent. Can't help but laugh at myself and stay positive. Wish I didn't trip over my 'freaking shoes' out of the gate."
He's been making appearances as a a celebrity. On "Live with Kelly and Michael," the hosts offered Clemente an opportunity interviewing celebrities. Clemente agreed, without cursing this time.
Since his episode on air, he has been a guest on CBS' Letterman and NBC's TODAY.
