There are so many great things about living in large metropolitan cities which are full of cultural attractions and replete with diversity with a variety of eclectic neighborhoods jam-packed with a bazillion other human beings.

However, when one purchases a condo unit inside a building, which has owners who don't live there and rent to questionable tenants, there are also downsides. Next door to us, in the past we would overhear a neighboring white trash couple continually get into repeated, and heated arguments inside their apartment. We complained several times about their actions, but to no avail. However, they were finally evicted when they stopped paying their rent.

Then, the new neighbors brought with them a loud and obnoxiously barking and apparently lonely dog which never seems to quit. This animal barks day and night, whenever anyone enters, or leaves the building, Tenant or visitor. FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS deliveries. And when they take it for walks, these people do not pick up after it.

Someone else in the building has been scratching the cars in the parking lot, while another inconsiderate idiot insists on smoking inside the building. Also, another loser has visitors, who bring him gifts during the nighttime during exchanges in front of the building.

So whenever faced with a series of issues and you're seeking answers, what do you do? If it deals with obvious discrimination, you should contact local, state or federal authorities.

If you live in NYC, like we do, we're told to call 311. It records your complaints, but so far none of these problems has changed. Stay tuned!
