Crimes and Vulnerabilities

Submitted by ub on

Too many women are still finding themselves victimized at the intersection of vulnerability, trust, and poverty.

Sexual harassment or sexual assault on the part of a supervisor, landlord, or others has unfortunately been under-studied and under-reported.

Women live in fear, facing an impossible choice between keeping their places of residence, or their jobs and submitting to predatory misconduct by predatory men who are in positions of power.

And what happens when courageous women speak out against the abuse? Often they find themselves in vulnerable situations because they're disbelieved or persecuted. Finally, the courts are catching up with them.

We see how criminal a man can be.
