Debate Debacle

Many took time yo criticize Chuck Todd, NBC moderator's performance at the debacle, his tone, and the substance of his questions, and one moment near the end when he asked each candidate to name the biggest “geopolitical” threat in a single word. For viewers hoping for more substantive debate, some said what the hell was that?

There were also technical difficulties, with several interruptions and even Spanish questions and answers, but there are more fun and games to come as Democratic presidential hopefuls take the stage tonight to conclude the first round of the 2020 debates at 9P on NBC.

In their first of two 10-member Democratic debates, @TheDemocrats didn't attack each other much and instead engaged in a policy-heavy debate.

Last night, the two-hour debate introduced American voters to 10 candidates, with some answering questions in Spanish and while others put the spotlight on immigration and abortion. Warren may have had the best night of them all.

Tonight Vice President Joe Biden will lead the night's lineup, with Senators Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, and Mayor Pete Buttigieg. As Biden leads in the polls, his challengers are expected to target him and highlight the former Delaware senator’s long legislative record.

NY Governor Bill de Blasio apologized for what he said was an inadvertent quoting of Marxist Revolutionary Ernesto Che Guevara in Miami, where hundreds of thousands of exiles who fled the bloody Cuban Revolution he headed with Fidel and Raul Castro.

The Bern will look to present his democratic socialist approach as superior to Biden’s centrism, while The Mayor could contrast his youth and countercultural approach.

Let’s see if the next one is Must See TV.
