Shore Road Circle Bridge over Amtrak Railroad - Shore Road Bridge project.

Construction Milestone Traffic Switch to New Roadway
On February 3, 2012, the New York City Department of Transportation will switch the traffic pattern on the bridge from Stage-1A & 1B to Stage-2. This change is necessary to move traffic onto the newly reconstructed exterior portions of the bridge and provide access to the central portion of the Bridge for the next phase of construction. One vehicular travel lane in each direction will be maintained as it was during stages -1A & 1B. Traffic will continue to operate under Stage 2 for approximately 10 months. NYCDOT appreciates your continued cooperation and as the reconstruction of the bridge continues. The Bronx Community Board No. 10 January 2012
