Over 100 world leaders of 85 percent of the earth’s forests, pledge to halt deforestation by end of the decade but is it soon enough?

POTUS isin Scotland for the COP26 climate summit Monday to convince world leaders that America is taking action on global warming.

All nations must redouble their climate efforts if they are to prevent global temperature increases that lead to a destabilized world and endless suffering.

The Glasgow Climate Conference gets underway with palpable tension. COP26 has to deliver real progress on climate action with the science showing that time is running out. But collective global ambition and trust are not enough. 

President Biden reportedly wants major climate legislation firmly in hand to match his actions. Democratic in Congress delayed plans to pass the White House's $1.75 trillion spending package that featured $555 billion in climate provisions. 

That could have given Joe Biden progress on his pledge to cut domestic greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030, compared to 2005 levels.

Biden has made climate change a focus of his administration, but some say he is expected to face questions about his ability to deliver meaningful climate policy as one of the world's biggest greenhouse gas emitters.
