Following the snowstorm, Temple Beth-El of City Island at 480 City Island Avenue hosted a free concert on Sunday afternoon performed by members of the Bardekova Ensemble.

They played a varied program from works of Ibert, Danzi, Rossini and Lefebvre to compositions by Scott Joplin transcribed for woodwind quintet, Richard Paratley, Flute, Ellen Bardekoff, Oboe, Donald Mokrynski, Clarinet, Carolyn Clark, Horn, and Amy Frasier, Bassoon.

Following the music performance, was a meet–the-artists reception afterwards.

This concert was made possible with funds from the Bronx Council on the Arts through the NYS Council on the Arts Decentralization Program, the Music Performance Fund and private donations.
