The Coliseum, also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, was an oval amphitheater in the center of Rome. Fighting and destruction was constantly the biggest draw. Coliseum gladiators may have been the single most barbaric sporting venue in human history. Some of the showdowns witnessed there were so ferocious that we still talk about it today.

Fast forward to present day video games and violence in professional football, hockey and boxing. However, we have recently learned about various domestic violence incidents, but the front offices don’t appear to be getting the message and either do not feel the same way, or simply turn their heads hoping the root of the controversy will simply go away.

The NFL concussion debate finally hears from someone who knows it first hand…
