NYC's Green Book has been keeping New Yorkers informed concerning agencies, offices, boards, and commissions that keep this city running. This year, there is a published one of a kind on line and truly "green" Green Book-a searchable, up-to-date NYC directory in digital form.
Enhancing our government's online presence and providing real-time information to New Yorkers is a central goal of our Road Map for the Digital City, a report we released last year. Innovative customer-service initiatives, such as 311 Online, have already made more government information more accessible, allowing New Yorkers to get City news faster and easier than ever before. The digital Green Book is another tool New Yorkers can use to more easily interact with government, and more easily find the information and resources they need.
