While I was a news producer at NBC, I was assigned to write and edit a feature on the award-winning show. After the segment aired, I was invited to return to the TV studio, where they had a gift for me. I respectfully explained that NBC News had strict rules concerning payola and journalism standards also prohibits these presents, so I wrote a check and made a copy for my records to cover the cost for the @SesameStreet spandex jacket with my name on it. Needless to say, I was a very popular person on the NYC Subway from then on.

I brought my daughters Natasha and Sabrina, who were delighted and extremely impressed meeting Big Bird, Oscar, Ernie, Bert, Cookie Monster, Mr. Hooper the writers and producers as well as others. Thank you, #SesameStreet. You've earned KUDOS!!!
