The Staten Island Yankees also have post-game fireworks scheduled on a number of upcoming dates, including tonight, July 4, and after every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night game.
June 26, Heritage of Pride will host 10 p.m. fireworks near Pier 54 in the Hudson River.
Three shows are in the works for June 30. The Central Astoria Independence Celebration at Astoria Park will feature Grucci fireworks and the music of the Astoria Symphony Orchestra.
Orchard Beach on June 30, the Bronx Salutes America (or New York Celebrates America Fireworks Festival) will feature live music by Alive N Kickin’ followed by 9 p.m. fireworks show.
June 30, the City of Bayonne plans to host its July 4th Celebration with fireworks at 9:15 p.m. over Newark Bay next to Staten Island.
New Jersey hamlet, Edgewater, will provide fireworks view to Manhattanites on July 1. Edgewater is seeking a permit for a 20-minute show over the Hudson River at 9 p.m. We Care We Share has also sought a July 1 fireworks permit for Arthur Kill. Update as of July 1: Permits have been issued for both shows. The 30-minute Arthur Kill fireworks will take place some time between 9:30 and 11 p.m.
July 2 in Brooklyn, Grucci will engineer the fireworks for the Fort Hamilton Independence Day Celebration that will feature a performance by Ne-Yo.
July 2, fireworks are scheduled at 9 p.m. at Wolfe’s Pond Park as part of Staten Island’s Celebrate America events.
The Breezy Point Cooperative has also sought a permit for July 3 fireworks at Jamaica Bay. Update as of July 1: The permit has been approved for a 22-minute fireworks display sometime between 9 and 10:30 p.m. Correction: The Coast Guard list of upcoming fireworks shows changed the Jamaica Bay event to July 2 from the original July 3.
Playland fireworks in Rye are scheduled for every Wednesday and Friday from July 1 through Sept. 2, with additional shows on July 3 and 4.
