Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, launched its 2012 city-wide mentor recruiting effort this week as part of National Mentoring Month, to inspire adults throughout New York City, particularly, men, for whom there is a greater need, to volunteer as mentors to children in need of positive role models.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City, a 107 year-old organization providing mentors to disadvantaged youth, seeks a dynamic, energetic, detail-oriented manager with proven success in sales/ marketing and/or new business cultivation for a salaried, full-time temporary (6 month position April -October 2012) position supporting the Development Department in their execution and growth of the agency's largest fundraising event, the Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC Race for the Kids.
