Nature’s Deadly Wrath

A series of powerful tornadoes killed dozens of Americans over the weekend. Then a coastal storm system will bring heavy snow, dangerous winds, and hazardous travel throughout the Northeastern states.

An Arctic air sweep will continue to spill onto the Plains and expand into the eastern U.S. this week. Much more than below normal temperatures and biting wind chills can be expected over many locations.

#US storms that formed with Arctic air has led to bone-chilling temperatures, heavy snow blanketing the nation from coast to coast.

Behind the storm, we can expect bitter cold weather. Wind chill temperatures in the minus 30s were forecast by the National Weather Service which warns that wind chills in the northern part of the state could fall to minus 28 degrees.

This was USA's deadliest day for tornadoes in a couple of years. These areas hit by tornadoes can expect drier, colder conditions.

Meanwhile, a storm over the Pacific will steadily move eastward to the California Coast overnight Tuesday. Moisture associated with the system will begin to move onshore over California overnight Monday. Rain will develop over parts of California on Tuesday afternoon. Snow will develop over the higher elevations of California and parts of the Great Basin by Tuesday evening. Snow will expand into parts of the Central Rockies overnight Tuesday. Likewise, rain will expand into parts of the Great Basin on Tuesday into Wednesday.

Several tornadoes hit the Southeast Sunday afternoon, killing more than 24 people in Alabama, just days after the president was making fun of climate change and mocking their southern drawl during a two-hour rambling marathon speech. This is the same individual who calls himself a stable genius but continues to deny climate change, as more and more continue to die.

More Americans see the Democratic Party’s positions on climate change, health care, abortion and immigration as being “in the mainstream” than the Republican Party’s head in the sand position.
