Authorities are searching for 3 Al Qaeda terrorists who may be plotting here in NYC, or Washington, DC. These are "significant," but unconfirmed threat to these two cities, federal and state law enforcement say.
NYC Mayor Bloomberg took the subway to City Hall this morning from his Upper East Side home, said, “We don’t want al Qaeda or any other organization ... to take away the freedoms."
The NY-NJ Port Authority has increased police presence and bag checks at Kennedy, Newark and LaGuardia Airports. The agency has also increased vehicle checks at all our bridges and tunnels.
