No matter how they slice it, since their cam-pain started with a lie #Trump and #Pence may wind up eating humble pie. #Mexico refuses to pay for a border wall and #USA taxpayers will not be forced to fund a project which makes no sense at all. They may accept a budget deal that denies them most of the money for their border wall. But most agree that we don't need a wall at all.
Members of Congress on both sides of the aisle have ripped POTUS for an unprecedented level of presidential deception on his wall as he Keeps pretending to fulfill another empty campaign promise by saying that he is building a wall, where there is no wall at all. Changing his slogan from building the wall to finish the wall, does not fool anyone at all as they continue to say the wall is being built anyway.
The Democrats and Republicans want him to do his job in this drawn-out process of securing the border and fully funding the government.
Are @POTUS and @VP lying to their dwindling constituency that the wall is an inevitability, even though there may be a more appropriate word for it if they end-run #Congress with an #EmergencyDeclaration or by a #Veto, which may likely be overturned by a similar bipartisan group which sent their proposal last year before these two shut down the federal government for the longest period in history causing plenty of blood, sweat, and tears.
