The Stay Safe program provides free identification of children containing their biometric information, photo and fingerprints to be used in case they go missing.
In addition to this service, Senator Klein’s staff assists parents in signing up for the NY Alert email notification system, so they can know when a potentially dangerous sexual predator moves into their neighborhood. This service, the result of landmark legislation Senator Klein had signed into law last year, is free to the public.

Senator Klein was recently selected to Co-chair the revamped Senate Task Force on Government Efficiency, a bi-partisan panel charged with uncovering wasteful spending and finding ways to reform government.
As part of the Task Force's work, he wants to hear your ideas on how to make government less costly, more responsive, and better able to serve our communities.
